I love free patterns! I am always searching for them, finding them and using them. Its just so fun. I think its wonderful that someone has created something and wants to share it with me! The most recent free pattern I found was from here. I am using her pinwheel pattern to make - pinwheels of course!
Now, especially as it is Christmas I have been feeling that I would like to share a pattern I have made. So . . . da da! Here is a Christmas Elf I made with a pattern for you to make him too! He is small and quick to make and just so cute. He is made with polar fleece (scraps will do) and only uses a small amount of stuffing.

Love the websites - that Heather Bailey Site is really nice....love the Pin Wheel pattern. The elf is so cute.
This is really, really, REALLY cute!
I love it!
Love it! I can't wait to try...now I just need time. Thank you!
Hi, I used your pattern and made a few adjustments to make a christmas elf for my boys. Not sure how to upload it here, but have posted it on flickr if you would like a look.
Thankyou for your pattern

This is adorable! I couldn't resist adding a link to it in this year's advent calendar here: http://freeadventcalendar.blogspot.com
I've been wanting to play the Elf on the Shelf games with my sons, but not pay the high price for the book and elf. I want to make an elf with similar skinny arms and legs (which I plan to put wire in for posing). I think your pattern will be just perfect! I'm planning to make it tomorrow.
Thanks for sharing. :D
Hello,
Can anyone tell me where I could purchase this little fleece elf already made. I need about 25-30 of them in the next month.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
