Finally finished

These have been off the needles for oh so long and now they finally have buttons! I hope the girls like them and wear them. Now I just need to cast on something new.

Making a room

I love acquiring furniture, making pretty thing and rearranging rooms. If I could furnish a room from scratch every few weeks I would be blissfully happy! This is not very practical so instead I decided to make a room with my 4 year old. It was quite fun and I even let him do most of it!

Yesterday I went to Mill Rose quilting and gallery in Ballan for a class and bought some of the most lovely fabric. I am hopefully turning it into a bag soon as my current one is feeling a little sad.

A very wobbly curtainy thing

I sewed it for the front of our laundry/linen/stationary cupboard in the laundry/dining/making room. We are very multipurpose here.

I'm bored mum ...

... I need to play with water.

I was always told only boring people get bored. But maybe we need to be bored so we can have great ideas.

Pop stick bird

We are having a making afternoon. I am knitting and the kids are making pop stick animals and nature pictures. If only every day was this lovely!
